Be persistent about it. And it can bring you somewhere. First, you will have to devote time and energy into self-branding properly. How? READ THIS.

1. DECIDE WHAT YOU’RE MAKING

Before you have a brand, decide what you’re going to offer. A product? A service? You can be anything you want, but you must be CLEAR & BE PASSIONATE on what it is. Think about the benefits and the result of the product/service. What will people FEEL, when they have your product/service? Feeling happy? Satisfied? Pretty?

What will people think of themselves once they buy your product or service? Feeling like an art lover? A professional businessman/businesswoman? A confident worker? A runaway model? Are they wanted to come back and use the same product/service again?

2. WHY YOU DO THIS? STATE YOUR BIGGEST REASON.

It’s all about the good you’re bringing to people. You are going to make a change and affecting the world in some way. Be intentional. THE BIGGEST WHY for you is the energy you have to keep going in the hard days. There is a time will come that you feel no point to continue further and you want to give up. YOUR REASON will give you purpose and help you through the mental breakdown.

3. LOTS OF EXPERIMENT & PERFORM ANALYSIS

Now you have WHAT and WHY. Let’s talk about HOW. How you’re going to present your product or service. Think of the platform you are going to use. YouTube? Facebook? Instagram? Website? Shopee? Lazada? Amazon? Etsy? Or anything in your mind that I haven’t mention here.

How about your methods? The way you plan to showcase and sell your work. This requires a lot of experiments, analysing and marketing.

I’m emphasized about organizing your social media post – focusing Facebook. BE ORGANIZABLE. Use Facebook Album as your Manager. Set ‘PUBLIC’ to album that you are going to boast your service/product. Write nicely. Categorize you post accordingly. Put interesting title on it and describe it simple but clear about what the album is all about.

4. YOUR UNIQUE VALUE

Let’s talk about WHO. Decide your target. When you know your target, you must know how to attract them visually and verbally. You must know yourself why you’re unique. How you’re going to tell them that you are different from others? What do you have that others don’t? Think.

5. DEVELOP SKILLS

It is so important that you equip yourself with various skills, especially communication skill. Communication skill can be narrow down to writing skill & public speaking skill. Improving these two areas can be a huge advantage for you. You have a great product or service, and you’re going to write and talk about it.

Also, build your hard skill set and keep up with current growth patterns and trends in online world and business. All these skills will take some time to master, but again. DO NO GIVE UP. Strive for improvement. Write every day if you must. Read a lot to improve your linguistic & intellect. Practice a lot.

6. JOIN COMMUNITY

Find a place or join a group or association where you feel comfortable sharing your thought, desires, questions and problem solving. It can be done in online spaces – through a website, Facebook group/page, blogs or offline through group discussion, meeting or join any program that can introduce you into the business. Create connection.

7. KEEP THE MESSAGE SIMPLE

Remember, your message is not about you only. Think of your audience needs first. Get your story straight and if you need to write, use simplest terms, like you talk. To create trust, speak their language. For me, I use simple term English to write this so it can be understood by many.

AVOID NEGATIVE post, comment, viral or gossip. You can talk about how miserable your day was. But you have to avoid talking bad about other people. Just talk about the bad progress & how you’re going to overcome it.
